Does the tank on 48 too low?

I am starting to agree with this idea. I just don't want to loose any fuel capacity. Maybe a lifted 3.1 gal tank is what I am looking for.

Tank lifts on Sportys are all about looks. (Twin Cams are a different matter).
On the 48 and 72 tank, you can tuck the wires and relo the coil/key without a tank lift. On the 3.3 gallon tanks, it is much easier to do a wire tuck with a tank lift.
I personally like the look of a lifted tank...stretches the bike out a bit, and like Bronco, to me it just looks better if the bottom of the tank follows the lines of the backbone.
Grandcuda and Here don't like the look.
