Frisco Bars Wired Internally, DK Customs Coil/Relo, XiEDs...
Well its been a long two days, but I got a lot of stuff done on the bike.
First I wanted to remove my forward controls. I tried them for a while. But ended up not liking them. So back to mids for me.
Then I did the XiEDs, not super hard. Piece of Cake.
Then I did the DK Customs Coil and ignition relo. See pics:
Then I did the Frisco bars wired internally...let me tell you these are a PAIN IN THE A$$. But I got them done with help from my Dad. Sorry pics during, a lot of frustration. I had to cut the OEM handlebar connectors. Then I crimped on my own insulated connectors, and shrinked wrapped them. On the handlebar side I added about 6" of extra wire which was overkill but I wanted to make sure i had enough. Here is a pic of the wires after I put some loom and electrical tape on them. I also added the DK Customs 1.5" tank lift to help fit the wires underneath.

Installing the frisco bars really isnt hard once you have the wires thru. I really like the feel of them. I opted to add a magnum SS braided line +3 (43" overall),
the turn signals are temporary for now. I want to eventually put them down on the forks.
cant wait for the weather to warm up. I took it for a spin after I did the install but its still pretty cold out.

Thanks Kevin, everything from DK was awesome. I love your stuff.
I was a little worried that adding loom to the wires under the tank was going to make it difficult to fit everything, but I was able to tuck and tape everything down pretty well. The 1.5" tank lift is a MUST to fit everything properly.
