Default jiffy stand too short?

I replaced the tires on my superlow with a taller tire, now when I put the bike on the stand seems like it lays over way to far. I have noticed the shifter seal has started to leak, not sure if that is related, but would like to know how to extend jiffy stand.

your gonna need to buy a longer stand. get one for a "custom", they are longer. the "lows" have short jiffy stands. I did this when I put longer shocks and lengthened the front forks on my low. I found one on ebay

I put a replacement unit sold by Drag Specialties that was meant for an R on my Nightster after replacing the rear shocks with taller ones. Made me feel a lot better about walking away from it.

+1 - You want a stand from an R model. The rubbermount C models use the standard length stand.

There are 5 different part #s for a Roadster Jiffy Stand.
For 2004-2005 Roadster models, part # 50185-04B is the same Jiffy Stand that's on a Custom model. They changed that in 2006. I can't say much about the other 4 part #'s, other than the Custom models have a different part # (50185-04B). The other Roadster model Jiffy Stand part #s: 50116-05, 49722-07BHP, 49722-08BHP, 50124-09BHP. I'm not sure what changed over those four part #s, but when Harley changes a part #, the part is usually new/different enough that it won't fit previous applications. Maybe they messed around with the length, but the mounting configuration is the same. Maybe somebody out there knows.
When you swap a jiffy stand, verify the part #s for the Pivot Pin and Jiffy Stand Bushings are the same as the ones you're replacing. If not, use the pin and bushings that correspond to the Jiffy Stand you're installing. I encountered this when I lowered the OL's 1200C and put a Nightster (shorter) Jiffy Stand in place of the stock Custom model unit. The Nightster stand wouldn't function properly with Custom bushings and pivot pin.
On a Super Low with a slightly larger tire, a Jiffy Stand from a Custom model might be a more appropriate length than a Roadster unit because you're not raising it that much. Hard to say without knowing the differences between the R and C Jiffy Stands.
