Default sporty 8 seat

Anyone have any experience with the sporty 8 seat by biltwell? I've ran several searches and I'm not getting anything. Is it more comfortable than a stock 48 seat? I like the look of the 48 seat and want one on my iron, but if it isn't any better comfort wise, I'll just get a used stock seat.

I was wondering the same thing. It was just realsed so I think it's gonna be awhile before we get any reviews. I am hoping it its better than the stock seat because I too like the looks of the 48 and that Biltwell seat.

Dude, email them directly and ask about it! .... They all ride all the time and practically put all there products through some good ride time before they slap there name on it to sell.

Default 48 seat

I was actually planning to call today when I get a break at work. I saw the seat late last night and thought I would see if anyone on here had tried it yet.

Email or call, someone will give you some feed back. All of them ride and they make sure they take there time when developing and creating things. All of biltwell stuff is great I stand behind the brand 100% they really keep what working class riding is all about. They have and will always give the best bang for your $.

"Thanks for your interest in our seats! I personally find the Sporty 8 seat much more comfortable than the stock 48 seat. It was designed with a different shape as to have the back kicked up to prevent sliding off the back. The foam thickness really helps your rear end on longer trips, so it would be safe to say it is an excellent upgrade to the 48 stock seat!"

That's the reply I received from a sales rep. I'm always a bit weary of taking a sales man's word on something, but they seem to have a solid reputation as a quality company.

I'm going to order it when I get paid and I guess I'll be able to answer some questions about it then. I've been debating on seat or handlebars for a little while and this appears to be the cheapest and least labor intensive option so far.
