Default What did you pay for your 2014 Iron 883?

I've been looking at buying a brand new Iron for quite a while now. The salesperson told me last week I could take it with a $900 down payment, but I wasn't ready to buy yet. He never told me the price on the bike but I'm guessing it's $9,000 because of the 10% down? Would that be a good price? I know I want to negotiate about it and maybe throw in a helmet and/or jacket. Would that be too much to ask for?
Thank you in advance

I paid $8500 - brand new w/ 10 miles. I think I am definitely not the norm. Found a guy on Craigslist who actually won the bike in a raffle. He only bought the ticket to support the charity, didn't think he'd walk away with a new bike. Anyway, long story short he doesnt ride and was just looking for cash.

$10700 OTD for a 2014 1200 Custom.
Contacted dealers within a 200 mile range and worked dealers against one another.
Had the.OTD prices texted to me so I could remember what dealer offered the best deal.
In the end I walked into a dealer within 5 miles of me and they beat the best price which was 170 miles away.
Good luck haggling.

got mine last fall for 8399 plus tax and title. no setup or other bs fees. so it cost just under $9,000 OTD at a 6% tax rate and $60 plate fee. They threw in 1,000 mile service and 10% off parts for a month.

Mine was around $10,900. Included, bike, 2 jackets (not leather), 2 up seat, passenger pegs, quick release sissy bar, 5 yr warranty, road side assistance, 10% off parts clothing for a year, a crazy dealer fee, license class, and a hell of a good time riding.

If I were to buy one brand new again, I'd look for a deal on craigslist or find a dealer who doesn't charge a fee.

Well this is what I'm looking for. I'd like to ask them to throw in: the jacket (or 2 for the girlfriend), 2 up seat, passenger pegs, helmet (also 2), gloves, store credit, service fee waivers. For the things I could get 2 of for my girlfriend and I is just protection because I wouldn't feel so safe with her on the back without any.

I just paid $9138.57 OTD for a "used" 2014 with 35 miles on it. The original owner rode it home, got chewed out buy his wife & rode it right back to the dealer. That price included a Vance & Hines short shots as well as a 48 seat purchase and installations. Think I got a great deal!
