Air shocks installed
Finally got the road king shocks installed on my Iron after a few bumps in the road. Initial thoughts are that how much it raised the bike I'm very unhappy with so possibly ordering lowering blocks soon to bring it down. Running 10psi in each with 7wt oil. Quick jaunt around the glock proved useless to notice a difference over factory shocks. It feels odd riding it now like its way taller. Not sure if it actually is or it's a mind thing. I'll update after a week or more with miles logged and adjustments made

Just went for another ride at 0psi. Way better than 10. I'm happy with the ride quality completely but extremely unhappy with the fender gap and how much it leans over on the side stand. What can be done besides lowering to help with that? I'm waiting to hear back from DK on which set he recommends. Real tests will be rising 2 up with my lady and see how she likes it

To get it to the same stance as it was before youll need 1.5" lowering blocks. With the increased angle on the shock it will make it feel softer. 2 up with no luggage 20psi works well for me. No bottoming, no tire rub.
2 up with luggage and camping gear hanging off the end weird stuff started happening. I think Ill pick up a set of 1" blocks for when I do that again.

On large bumps at speed (60mph+) it would feel as if someone was applying the rear brake, half a second later its as if someone hit the nitro, feels like it launches. It didnt do that without the luggage and camping gear. I think the rear was somehow compressing too much and getting bound up (brake feeling) then unbinding (launch feeling). It didnt make any noise and there were no marks on the tires so Im not sure what was happening but Im thinking if the shocks werent at such an angle it might not happen...............just a guess.
