Default 08 nightster pulls left.

I bought an 08 nightster two weeks ago and I noticed that it pulls left. It's not constant and sometimes it's worse than others. I did some research and read that this might just be something that sportsters do and I have to learn to deal with it or it could just be my riding position that needs to be altered. Have any of you guys had this same experience?

Riding. It seems to stop pulling when I disengage the clutch.

My 2014 doesn't feel like it pulls left or right just as an FYI

I would suspect your rear wheel is slightly out of alignment. Just a guess, as most of my riding experience is with shaft driven bikes.

This was my first thought too.

Yea that's kinda what everyone is saying. But it seems to be a common problem with sportsters. I'll have it checked out. Thanks.

Do you have a swing arm bag on the left side with 20 pounds of tools in it?

Nope. No bags at all on either side.

I thought I'd ask because mine pulls to the left when I take my hands off the bars. I assumed it was because I do have a left side swing arm bag full of tools; maybe it's unrelated. Just curious.
