Just to make sure do you have the part no.? do you know if it will fit a 14' iron 883?Are you in Lake Forest, IL?

 

I'm located in Lake Forest,Ca and fitment should not be an issue due to the fact that the Iron and 48 share the same frame and rear fender which are the only 2 attachment points for the seat. I would however double check your fender to see If you have the helicoil and rubber grommet in the proper location. You can also hit up your local dealer and inquire as to whether or not a factory solo seat will bolt right up to your factory fender mounting points. Hope this helps. Anyone with knowledge on this feel free to chime in.

 

FYI - part number is on the underside of the seat at the front tab. The 48/72 seat will be LK006, the Sportster 3.3 gallon tank is LF-006, and the 4.5 gallon tank model is LC-006. IIRC correctly, the 48/72 seat is designed to push a little further forward and cover the end of the tank.
