HARLEY: New Harley Auto tune module now available
#111
Enough testing has been done with DJ and TT that we know exactly what it is and what it isn't. We know who spread lies about it and we saw that corrected by DJ's CEO. He even ate crow and apologized for spreading the false narrative. Sorry you drank the Kool-Aid. I'm not interested in the court. It all comes out in the wash. The BS and the people that push it are being exposed.

Also the head pipe kit also is listed in the instructions for 16-17 models only.
But the online catalog list the module as working on multiple models not listed in the instructions.
I assume maps will eventually be available...

Get a load of this, a bloke I know has a 117" 2017 CVO Breakout tuned by a dealer, it has decel pop and throttle hesitation issues, he asked why and was told that's how it is with these new FBW bikes!
Then this module launches and he is now been told this will fix his tune issues as the reason he has issues is the bike was tuned on a dyno using wide band sensors and then the fueling is handed back to narrow bands and that creates the problems even though it is like it straight out of the dyno room plus they said the popping was also related to how rich they had to set the cal to compensate for the inaccuracies of narrow bands at low revs.
I was floored, still am.

Bit of an update, the dealer fitted the widetband kit to that 117 I mentioned, I rode it today, it runs pretty decent, none of the issues that the owner was complaining of, I don't know what else if anything was done but I know it was not retuned on the dyno, the owner is rapt with the result, it's got me beat how it all ties in but then I'm no tuning guru.

Since you can do so much more with the Screaming Eagle Race Tuner, could it not be used as a Street Tuner Also? I mean just use the Race tuner as a street tuner and not worry about all the other functions of the Race tuner. Or is the Race tuner not able to be used as a Street Tuner. Just asking.

Too add to the confusion. HD has now named their tuner, Pro Street Tuner.
