The Kit is ARB and EPA approved for its intend application, NOT when you try and use it outside of those intended applications, as some here want to do. Anyone who wants to buy one should run out and do it. Then report back how well it works, they should not call names and ask other all the time to do it for them. As I said its time for them to put there Big Boy pants on.

Sounds like this is based on feeling and opinion, because it is basically a false narrative that people like to push when they got nothing else. IME these types of "plug and play" actually help my business. A shop sells them the product. Then it doesn't work as advertised. They do the back and forth with the dealer and after dealing with it for month during the season. They get frustrated. Contact their local indy for a real tune. Then the customer has a great story of wasting time and money and what they did to fix it. So, the indy has great word of mouth advertising and a customer that will bypass the dealer and go straight to the indy for anymore of his tuning needs. That my friends is what I call a win, win.
So, I am all for the dealers pushing these. Gives me great free exposure. Buy up people.

Harley ECM's are self adjustable on the fuel and spark side since 06. It has several close loop feed back systems. The better tuning systems compliment this stock system instead of changing it to a point where it dumbs down some of these systems. BUT they are advertised in a way where most think they are getting something better. When they are not.

Marketing is king when it comes to selling "auto-tune" systems that claim to be "plug-n-play" then simply ride to a perfectly running bike.
I get a kick from those who live to eliminate going to a tuner to get their bike running its best. I've seen folks who have spent thousands on "auto-tuning" systems over time to avoid the infamous dyno tuner, only to end up at my door with a high level of frustration from their bike not running smoothly, has decel backfiring, along with poor mileage from rich running.
It's truly satisfying when a customer returns from a test-ride sporting a big smile and thank you for getting it the way it should be.
