locked ECM and TTS
hi Steve
I replaced the faulty ecm in my bike with a 'used' ecm from a similar bike and had the Dealer flash the original VIN and factory specs to the ecm.
I then proceeded to save the mte file and upload a TTS cal to the bike.
The VIN and specs were not correctly saved to the replacement ecm.
It still shows the VIN and specs from the original bike.
IF I restore the mte file to the ecm, can I go back to the Dealer and get him him to properly save the correct VIN and specs to the ecm without corrupting the relationship between the ecm and the vci ?
