Doesn't anyone in FL know how to warn a rider about a cop ahead?
Is it just me or doesn't anyone in Florida know the signal to warn oncoming bikes that there is a cop setup ahead of them?
I moved here from SoCal and everyone was awesome about letting oncoming bikers know that they were about to see a cop and should slow down, but since I've been riding here (almost 2 yrs) not one person has given me the heads up. I've been lucky so far, but wondered if riders here just didn't know the sign for it?
Last month I was talking to a few ppl I ride with on occasion and they had no clue that the pat on the top of the head/helmet meant that there is a cop set up ahead for oncoming traffic.
Just a random thought of mine and hoping some ppl will read this and help another biker out.

I don't want to jinx myself, but in Missouri where I am from you can pretty much count on a cop radaring every time you hit the highway or pretty much any road.
Here in S. FL it's very infrequent that I see a cop radaring. Traffic moves faster here, about 10 over most of the time, but frankly I don't mind that.
I like to think they are out dealing with worse crimes than speeding. I know there are a lot worse crimes here in S. Fla than in Mo, where speeding is evidently crime #1 (outside of Ferguson of course).
