Annual Christmas Day Ride to Key West
A motley crew will meet and ride to Key West as usual on Christmas Day.
Meet at the Shell gas station on SW 10th/Powerline (on the SW corner) and the entrance to the Sawgrass Expressway at 7am, Deerfield Beach, KSU approx 7.15am. Straight down to KW, eat, turn around and come home!!

Weather is looking good. We are usually 6-10 riders, take the turnpike, stop at Snapper Creek services, one more stop half way for a quick break, 2 stops coming home. We try to hit the Broward/Palm Beach county line by 6pm. Anybody is welcome if you've got nothing to do.

Great Steevo if you can make it. Vikingmikko came along 2 years ago.
It's a 4x2x4 kinda day, there's just time to get a T shirt at the HD boutique on Duval if you want one. We've eat at the Hog's Breath but sometimes we've gone to the Mallory Sq side. It all depends on where we can park without getting ripped off at $10 per bike.
I like to be on the road heading home by 2pm latest. The worst part is the bottom end of the Turnpike as dusk falls with all the drunks on their way home from Christmas. It's nice to be past that area before it gets dark.

Good luck with this, I wish I could join you!
A word of warning tho concerning parking your bikes. I saw two dressers parked on the pavement/sidewalk during the summer at Key West and they got tickets, so be careful where you park. Ten bucks may seem expensive, but it's gotta be cheaper than a fine.
Cheers

Yep we will used designated parking spaces or lots, but at the Hog's Breath they want $10 a bike, further towards Mallory Sq they'll take $10 per parking space and we can get 4 bikes on each space.
