David(56Flu) his wife Carol and my wife and I rode up to Crystal River today and had lunch at the Freezer. Actually wasn't too bad, we all had water on the bikes and as long as you kept moving you were ok.....

It's been miserably hot here in west central. I've been leaving home by 7am and home by noon on the days that I ride. I pack plenty of water in a soft cooler. On the highway it isn't too bad at 60+, but the ride home blows while sitting in stop and go traffic. We did a 225 mile ride this morning, got home at 1130, and we both stripped and ran for the pool!!!

I agree with slapshot12, down here in SW Florida if you keep moving down the road it is bearable, but try sitting at a few stoplights in a row.

I thought it was suppose to be slightly cooler this week. Heat index already 100 in Cape Coral this morning!

Did a small ride after midnight. Even that was "stuffy", but at least it wasn't overbearing.

For sure! I don't even ride on days like we have been having. Call me a sissy but I don't ride to be hot, soggy and miserable. I can't wait for it to cool down!!

All my bikes have/had one. I think most of South Florida that has a crotch cooler has one because of me ( I should be your South Fl marketing director lol).
