Yes there is.

Since Lake Okeechobee is so big and so far, a small local contingent plan to ride around Lake Buffum on Monday. There will be a photo opt at the Alturas Post Office for those that have never seen it.

I would say the best viewing area would be in one of a couple places we will cross Hwy 60 or at the intersection of ABC and Hwy 27.

 

If you all are riding Monday I'd like to tag along.

if one of the chosein few slip up and tell u were and when i`ll ride down with u Nick.had agreat ride 2 day found out, u can see manitee from sugar loaf mountain.if u don`t hear anything i`ll meet up with u and ride monday

This is an interesting development. I get dissed for my signature line and now I'm an elitist.

Myself and a couple local folks are planning to leave the Flying J in Fort Pierce at 7:30 on Monday. Should make Pat's Diner on Hwy 441 in Fort Drum about 8:30 for breakfast then we'll double back to cut across the Kissimmee Prairie to head up Hwy 98 toward eastern Sebring. As I mentioned we plan to mostly wonder around the citrus groves and cow pastures in SE Polk county.

I am just a humble motorcycle enthusiast that just enjoys riding my motorcycle either alone or with friends. I just ride and don't care what the next fellow does with his motorcycle.
