Default Twisties just straightened out here in Georgia....

New Motorcycle.

My Street Glide sold in 6 days; took me less time than that to find my "Connie".

This is a 2012 Kawasaki 1400GTR (Concours). SuperSport Touring.

153 Horsepower (at 8800rpm), 100 ft. lbs torque (at 6200rpm), red-lines at 11000 rpm.

0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds, 1/4 mile clocks 9.x seconds.

NONE OF THESE STATISTICS WILL BE EVER CONFIRMED BY ME. LOL (Just quoting Wiki, or any other source).

Heated grips, ABS, Traction Control, motorized lift & tilt windscreen.

5.8 gallon gas tank for this spaceship.

I already have 600+ miles on her, took delivery last Saturday afternoon.

I was ready for a change, ready for modern technology, tired of scraping stuff in the twisties. This is the perfect bike for running the hills up here.

This has a mostly up-right seating position, pegs straight-down from my hips.

Here's a pic from the website in my color (kind of a red root beer):

Looks great Paul! I just looked at a Victory Vision but was not impressed with anything but all the gadgets. Keep me updated on how you like it after you get used to it. The horsepower and torque are pretty impressive! Congrats!

Concurs have a long history.....and glad to see they made the saddle bags look more
like they fit on a bike and not as air craft checked baggage. Enjoy the bike Paul...(wonder if barbara would like a triumph.....)

Nice ride Paul. I'll bet you will be able to keep up with those crotch rockets now. I wouldn't mind having one of those, but I will never get rid of SG.
