Took 301 all the way up from Brandon yesterday. Lots of bug splatters but just a few of the love bugs. It was toasty yesterday!!!

 

We had no love bugs on the ride up Friday afternoon, just a couple riding up around ONF yesterday, but quite a few on the ride back home today. I will be washing the bike later when it cools off. It was a hot ride home today!!

Leesburg was fun. It has really grown since we were last there 7 or 8 years ago. Main St was a zoo. We just parked on Canal St each night and never even thought of riding down Main St.

 

It wasn't the buggiest ride I've ever done. Leesburg was great, rode from Crystal River through to Silver Springs and back down to Leesburg through the Ocala National Forest. Wish we had some riding like that down south.

 

We came back 33 to 17 to 31 and had a mess of bugs on the bike. They weren't wide spread but concentrated in small areas. i cleaned it once in Fort Mead and again for an hour at home.

Had a blast in Leesburg again though!!!!

 

Leesburg was great. Lots of bikes, peeps, and love bugs. Good time was had by all :-)

 

Ran from Lake City to Crystal River Today .. Lot's of Love bugs ..

 

Wanted to report back on the bottle of Bug Slime I tried out on my ride to Leesburg. As others have posted the love bugs were out but not in full force. I am glad too because the Bug Slime was not all that great. It worked but a little too much elbow grease involved. Can't say I would buy it again. It was jus a little too pricey, kind of over promised and under delivered.
