I'm not currently having problems with my radio, but have this question for Ultra owners. If you replace the head unit with an aftermarket radio, how do you interface with the CB and intercom features? Turning the CB off and on, changing channels, adjusting the intercom and rear speakers, etc is all done by using the menus that use the HK's display.

Can't do it. If I could find an aftermarket radio that had CB and intercom I would have it installed tomorrow. I have been through 2 HK's in the last 3 years. Next time I have problems, it is going to Iron Cross with hopes that they can come up with a permanent solution.

Problem is the exchange / refurb with no feedback to the customer about what went wrong and how to prevent it in the future.
