looking for anything over 32" in a fishtail format

36's look good i like that they stick out farther than the bags. so 34's would be the tips barley sticking out?

Thanks, It's a work in progress. Took off the trunk & big seat & am seriously considering true duals with fishtails. 36" would probably be perfect for me, any longer & I'd be tripping over them and backing into ****. LOL

 

Well I had 33's and they just barely came past the bags. The 36's are perfect IMO. The 39's and 41's are better suited to soft ails I think here is a shot of 36's on mine and 39's on my girlfriends softail.

 

I actually couldn't remember if I had 31's or 33's, so I went out and measured again. These are the cheap ebay 33 inch slip on fishtails. I actually have no issue with them, and like how they sound.








On the other hand, here are the ridiculously expensive Samson Cholo's on my Fat Boy. In my case, these are the 36 inch Cholo's. They cost 5 times as much, but are of course, a better quality product. I like how the ebay pipes sound better. What can I say, I do.....

 

side shots are great for reference. not that my 88 has much power, but would i loose hp/tq going to a straight pipe set up like fishtails
