new wheels

Ok, makes sense. Dropstars are a bit cheaper than Eagle Alloys or Fuels, and A/T's are definitely cheaper than M/T's. My eagle alloys are $300 a shot, and my tires (Nitto Trail Grapplers) were $400 each. And I had to get wheel locks separate. All said and done, with balacing, about $2900

You can't compare the price of cast aluminum car or truck wheels with CNC machined billet motorcycle wheels. Machined billet car wheels are up there as well. For instance HRE makes wheels in the US, and their "classic" wheels retail for around $6,000 per set; for HRE, that's inexpensive. Their priciest set, the P1 series, can cost up to $2,300 per wheel, nearly $9,000 to shod a Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Aventador, or Porsche 911. I wish I knew why there aren't more cast aluminum motorcycle wheels, especially in the most popular sizes. Joe
