My wife has decided that she wants to come along with a couple of friends and I to Sturgis next year but she will not camp and I'm scrambling to find a couple of reasonable rooms. I'm looking for just about anything in Sturgis, Spearfish, Deadwood, etc. Ideas, fellas?
All I know is, you better hurry up!
Its the 75th anniversary, and rooms, houses, and campsites are gonna be in high demand and hard to get! Myself and the folks I'm going with already booked our house like 9 months ago! Just keep calling around. Good luck in your search.
You may already know, but in-case you do not. Campgrounds like Hog Heaven have showers, flushing toilets, stores, home cooked meals and live local bands each night. sure beats locking yourself in a room. and you can UPS gear there too.
hog heaven was really nice. i stayed there this year. it was the nicest campground i saw the whole time i went. showers and restrooms are very clean and taken care of. keystone had some nice places to stay. there were a ton of mom and pop type places that probably dont have websites
Sleep Inn in Rapid City. We stayed there this year. Decent free breakfast. They have supplies each day to wash your bike for free. A little pricey but very clean and new.
