Default Air ride for baggers?

Who makes the best air ride and how does it compare to the traditional springs eg Ohlins/JRI /progressives?

Thanks

I haven't seen anyone comment an an air suspension system that compares with Ohlins/JRI. There was a Canadian company who produced a very fancy height-adjustable air system that also claimed to have top-shelf damping, that cost a fortune, but I haven't seen anything on it for a long time. Other air set-ups seem to be custom-orientated, rather than for crossing continents!

I tried the Arnott for 500 miles it was so harsh I removed it and put the stock premium shocks back on I'm going to give Motorcycle Metal a try.

They list a price, but I don't see any details or photos.

I can get you the Shotgun for baggers. It is by far the best air ride available for baggers. Arnotts are very popular as well and I sell them too. Call me and I can explain the differences.

The wife had the Arnott on her 11 Streetglide

I had the Shotgun Shocks on my 2009 Ultra (yes, JD did make some prototypes in 2010).

I had plans to switch them over to the new bikes, but we are both happy with the stock Premium shocks that came on the 14 SGS

I had the extended bags and fenders on the 09, so it was nice to slam it in the parking lots, though.

Both sets are now collecting dust on a shelf in the garage.

Here is a picture of the bagger shocks that JD adapted to fit my wifes Sportster. Give him a call as he will also give you a discount if you mention this forum.
