Pre Ride Inspection Pays Off
#22
I've had the T&WW since 2010. They have not made money on me, I assure you.
The extended warranty, I've never used it, so yes, they're making their money there.
(See what I did... They're their there LOL)

My post was aimed at Pre Ride Checks, and how important they are no matter if you have coverages or not. I want to stay ahead of a break down or something that could create a safety issue for me and or my passenger.
That being said, and since you asked, I negotiated at the time I bought my bike for extended warranty and tire and wheel coverage. It is an item that many Dealers offer, and brochures are usually available at the Dealer. I went with a Five Year Plan Extended Warranty with Tire and Wheel Coverage that was $1,200.00 total and no deductible.
I admit, it is a gamble that they are betting it won't get used, and you are betting it will. I like the piece of mind in regard to the possibility of being on the road and something happens - what would you do then? What would that cost? I used to work with an older guy that bought a Vulcan, and rode it to work in nice weather thru some back country roads. I asked Him one day "What would you do if you had a flat on your bike?" He said "Man, I don't think about stuff like that - I don't know". I bet a lot of people ride around like that.
Pre op checks, and have some idea of what you will do if something goes wrong. Carry your phone, contact numbers, and consider from time to time what you would do in the event of the unexpected.
Ride safe, and enjoy the ride!
