Reviving this thread for clarification from Bklynbob and orangevette on this clutch basket setup. What is the finial gear ratio when this mod is complete? I have been interested in rehearing my 14 street glide and am not interested in buying a new belt or losing any adjustment. I have looked at Evo Industries that makes the 30 tooth engine sprocket but that is quite a jump in the final ratio.

2009 and up should give ya about 3.06-1 final overall ratio, 2.97 on the 2007& 2008's.

What can you tell me about this product? Does it replace the clutch? Do I need to recalibrate the speedo? how hard to install? Etc.

Reviving an old thread. still looking for a definitive answer if stock belt in fact works with the 30T pully, other than to having to elongate the axle slot

I had the Evo 49T on my 07 SG. Comes with basket and chain. You can reuse your stock clutch. Although I'd suggest throwing in a heavier spring in. Cheap insurance since your in there. Can also reuse tensioner if you wish. Some people had to file down the end of Teflon on tensioner because they were experiencing a whining noise. I chose this route because it was easier. I' ve done a few now and can probably do it in an hour. Also didn't have to worry about a belt letting go on a trip and not being able to find a replacement. I plan on doing the same on my 2012 SG.

I have the 30T trike front pulley on my CVO Breakout & was able to retain the original belt without any issues

here in Australia we are limited to 110 Kmh max a little over 60 Mph for you guys

Sixth gear for me could still do with a few extra RPM as its a little lazy at times

I am considering upping the rear pulley to increase the RPM a little more but will wait until I decide what cam I will put into this thing

regards
Rod

closer to 68 MPH.

75 to 80 MPH are not uncommon speeds in the US. 3000/3200 rpms with stock gearing
