Was told today my volume control switch on handlebars would cause this problem. The problem is the radio starts station search all on its own and now my cb will not transmit. It will receive but will not go out to anyone else. All buttons seem to work but having troubles. I know it isn't headsets or cords. Also the passenger will not transmit either.

 

Year of the bike? If it is has the HK radio have you done the diagnostics from the sticky at the top of this page?
