While you are in transit to your bike with someone else driving, open up your newly purchased manual to preride check. Read and follow directions.

Not risky at all. Always check fluids, but I'm sure they are fine at those low miles. Check the air in the tires, the last two use bikes I purchased had only half the recommended pressure. And I agree with the FOB, I don't have the battery number for the FOBs on the top of my head, but I'm sure someone here does.

Good point! The 2011 RKC came standard with the security system.

As said above....if they're stock tires, not good. I would either get new ones before leaving that town or trailer it. Good luck!!

Why would the tires be bad? My 11 RKC had 3k miles on it and the tires were like new when I sold it a few months ago.

Well crap!! Coffee hasn't kicked in and I read it wrong.....I read 2001!! LOL!

Please disregard my non caffeine answer about tires! Ride safe!! Now where's that coffee machine!!
