While you are in transit to your bike with someone else driving, open up your newly purchased manual to preride check. Read and follow directions.
Congratulations.
Hello,
I am about to buy a second hand RK Classic 2011. The point is it's got 1,900 miles (the man didn't ride much...) The bike was parked in a garage. Looks like new. I need to drive back home 370 miles. What do I need to check? Is it risky to your opinion?
Best regards
Eric, Paris, France
Not risky at all. Always check fluids, but I'm sure they are fine at those low miles. Check the air in the tires, the last two use bikes I purchased had only half the recommended pressure. And I agree with the FOB, I don't have the battery number for the FOBs on the top of my head, but I'm sure someone here does.
