Default Dyno question

Long story short, I'm getting my SG back after being Dyno'd. I'm prepared to be flamed, but oh well;

First, will there be a noticeable difference as far as overall riding? I know it will not be like 200mph and all that. But what have you experienced as far as that? I am new to the Dyno, hence the dumb questions.

I am really excited, and this is something I studied(thank you search function), and found a really good tech who sat down with me for about an hour just talking about the pros and cons. Not a sales pitch at all.

Thanks again in advance

Please tell us what you have done to the bike.

For sure.

Bassani 2-1 B4 exhaust

Power Commander V ( I have had this for about a year, I tried it but do not like it)

Screaming Eagle Air Filter.

As far as engine and performance that is it.

I am looking for some replacement saddlebags, but that is another story and I don't want to hijack my own thread.

If you just dynoed a stock bike, you probably won't notice much difference.

With exhaust (full system) and air intake mods, you will notice some difference.
Not a lot, but it should be noticeable.

It will take heads/cam, etc mods to really notice the difference.

Good deal, I am thinking about some new cams eventually. I am going to wait and see how the bike handles when I pick it up tomorrow from the shop.

That B4 exhaust system, along with an air filter and a good tune, will make a very significant difference. Yes, you will really be able to feel it.

Seriously. Your dyno tech will do a before and after run, and I would be astonished if you didn't get at least 10 hp and 10 lb-ft of torque.

At least.

Very good to know, I'm super psyched

I will post an update once I get the bike. Thanks!

You may not get a big/noticeable power gain (depending on current tune) but a proper dyno tune will give an improvement in overall ride-ability that you should diffidently feel.
