Default se 5.5 oil pan

started on my tman 124 kit 2013 urg. should I go with lg pan or stock, some say not worth the money....

Does this 124 kit "recommend" a larger oil pan? If not, then don't bother with it. JMO

You don't need it. I will suggest an oil cooler upgrade and wards fans if you plan to do a lot of city riding. I'd call TR just to make sure though.

If the $600 price tag is not an obstacle, go for it. A 124 could probably use the extra cooling. IMHO.

instead replace your stock oil cooler with a Jagg 10 row fan-assisted oil cooler. that would be money better spent IMO compared to another quart of oil in your system. I haven't seen any technical data that shows that an added quart of oil will cool anything down any better than 4 qts will. There's tons of data on oil coolers though.

I guess, it depends on if the sump does a lot better job at keeping the oil pickup submerged and not cavitating with the high g-load acceleration you will be experiencing.

The extra oil wont hurt but Id be more worried about the oil cooler if you don't have one. I am using the stock pan and hd oil cooler on both my 120r and my 124.
