Default 2015 Road Glide - Starting Issue

Just picked up a 2015 Road Glide Special and it won't start while in gear with the clutch level pulled in. Any suggestions? What's the fix?

Does it try to turn over? Clicking noise? Is the kill switch on? What exactly happens when you try to start it?

Check your battery terminals, if they're loose you may have some odd issues

Out of curiousity, why do you want to have it in gear while starting? Try it in neutral with the clutch disengaged. Much safer, anyway. It may be a safety switch that is a new thing?

Sounds like a safety switch issue. You payed good money, have the dealer look at it under warranty.

It starts right up in neutral...And I notice the other 2015 Road Glides start while in gear with the clutch level pulled in. You guys may be correct - safety issue. I'll get it checked out...

Mine will start in Gear with clutch pulled in. They found a loose wire on my handlebars while putting the heated grips on. Take it to your dealer and let them deal with it. If your gonna miss any riding make them give you a loaner.

Mine does this. Starts in neutral, but not in gear with the clutch pulled in. I just figured it was a new safety feature built in.
