Who is running it, and pros vs cons? I have the HD shorty, but I'm toying with the idea of doing the either the HD hidden or something a little nicer looking than the rubber shorty. The stock whip is not an option since I don't want it back on until I trade it in. I know reception will suffer because of the length, but has anybody compared both?

 

I have a pair of carbon fiber shorty's - black and brushed nickel. Bought on Ebay for about $5 each. I like them.
