Headers splitting open?

Headers splitting open?
Quick sanity check... Give the vibration of the TC88/96 engine, how common is it to have headers crack at the bolt on point? Which cylinder is more likely to have this happen?
(Yeah, I've actually got some money riding on this.)

Ive welded the point where thecrossover pipe joins the front header twice on my 01 RKC. And it vibrates a bunch at idle.

Is there any preventative maintenance you can do for this? Or is this something that I can expect to have to fix sometime down the road?
