Annual Dragon trip with wife, son, brother, riding buddy and his wife. Maggie Valley for Spring Thunder in the Smokies, and we always do 4-5 long weekends. Probably hit the Back of the Dragon, Mt Mitchell, etc. Love hitting the hills!
For those suggesting The Dragon - nice. But to tell you the truth I find The Cherohala Skyway a much more rewarding ride for the sweepers and scenery. It is a different kind of rush. More like a soft, fluffy pillow than a bed of nails.
I'm hoping this year I can expand my horizons. Until now I've been kind of stuck in VA, MD, PA, WV. Not a bad place to be stuck actually but I would like to take Horace's advice.
Three day ride through Utah. Three Day trip to Pike's Peak. 7 day ride of all 22 or the 10,000 ft. paved passes in Colorado. This is a HD Forums ride for anyone interested. This year also looks like it might be the year for the Pacific Coast. Three day trip to Angel Fire, NM over Labor Day for the annual presentation and laying of bricks at the Viet Nam memorial.
There will be a lot of day rides all season.

There are actually 29 paved passes over 10k in Colorado. I plan on as many of them as I can get in, including the annual 5-in-1 in July ending in Glenwood Springs this year. Also thinking of the PCH again, and down to Alabama via SE Oklahoma and Talimena Drive, in May to see my Uncle who's been told he's not long for this world. Also would like to do a Saddlesore 1k.
I'm going to do more weekend trips in the mountains this year. Havent decided on the parkway though because of the speed limit. Would love to ride to Sturgis but I feel that may be expensive and still trying to catch up from a 2 week ride i took last summer.
