With Spring right around the corner, I have been putting some ideas together for trips this year. Thinking about Tennessee, Carolinas and Colorado. Wondering what everyone's plans are?

 

Full Skyline + Blue Ridge Parkway and Sturgis again.
Miles and miles of local rides in between those...

 

Bo, first welcome to the forum. Last year in October I rode the Dragon, Smoky Mountains, Tennessee, North Carolina. Loved the ride. This year we are looking at the Blue Ridge Parkway, ride to Sturgis week before bike week and maybe a run over to Delaware and down the east coast. If you're wondering why Delaware? One of our riders is 75 and he only needs two states to have ridden all 50 states, so we're going to Delaware. Have a safe season and post pictures.

France - twice! Vosges Mountains then Loire Valley.

 

Three day ride through Utah. Three Day trip to Pike's Peak. 7 day ride of all 22 or the 10,000 ft. paved passes in Colorado. This is a HD Forums ride for anyone interested. This year also looks like it might be the year for the Pacific Coast. Three day trip to Angel Fire, NM over Labor Day for the annual presentation and laying of bricks at the Viet Nam memorial.

There will be a lot of day rides all season.

Eureka Springs over Memorial Day Weekend..
then Sturgis, Montana, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, WY, Million Dollar Highway in CO, and NM in August

 

HOG rally in Janesville, WI and a trip to see a friend in New Orleans and possibly a small tour of the gulf shore states....many smaller rides in between! I can't wait!

 

+1. A few years ago I did the Dragon, Blue Ridge and Skyline, with starting and ending just south of Cleveland, OH. We hit Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. It was an awesome ride.

This year we are doing a similar trip, but not doing the Blue Ridge or Skyline portion.

 

Ride to Ocean Drive SC to watch the sun rise and eat breakfast. Ride the Dragon and over to Pigeon Forge for the classic car events. Ride over to Bryson City to see the "Road to No Where" so if folks as where I've been, I can say No Where. Natchez Trace. Blue Ridge Parkway to Lil Switzerland and over to Linville Caverns. A couple of state rallys and should be about Christmas by then but burning up SC and NC 28, 178 and 215 and maggie valley between rides. 24/7 365 riding.

 

Gettysburg for a 4 day weekend, Maggie Valley for a week long trip and any roads around there, West Virginia for a 4 day weekend. Ohio bike week for a day or two. Northern Michigan for a few weekend trips. Possibly a ride to jack daniels for the squire event.
