Default Painted seat heat shields

Looking at my plastic seat heat shields, I was wondering if anyone has ever painted them to match the bike, or would the paint not hold up?

I did mine look good to me hated the black

Yes I had mine painted and they are holding up fine. Looks much better too.

Damn I wish I would've thought about that. I just got my inner and lower speaker pods back from paint yesterday. That would've looked sweet!!!!!

2010 Limited with some stuff!!

Mine are color matched paint. Two years no problems. (And they DO help!)

I think it all depends on the color of the bike. Some look better matching while others look better black. Just my opinion.
