Default Change the PIN code on a 2015 Harley Touring:

Happy Friday All,

I wanted to pass along some information that I needed to learn myself.
I hope this is helpful to a lot of you out there.

================================================== =====

Change the PIN code on a 2015 Harley Touring:

Start with the Ignition in the Off position and the Run/Stop switch in the Off position.

Turn the Ignition switch to the On position.

Turn the Run/Stop switch On-Off-On-Off-On.

Press the Left turn switch 3 times quickly, followed by the Left turn switch 1 time.

The Odometer should display the current PIN code and the first number will be Blinking.

Use the Right switch button to change the number. It will count up from 0 to 9.

Use the Left switch button to "Enter" the number and move the cursor to the next digit.

When finished inputting the new PIN code, turn the Ignition switch and the Run/Stop to Off.

The new PIN code will be Saved.

I thought you had to click your heels together also. Maybe that was on the 14's.

Great info, but that is why I always carry the manual. At my old age I will never remember the sequence to change/override the code.

Default Having Trouble With 2015 UL

The book says 2 left followed by one right. You may have a typo there, either way can someone clarify. Following the book and it will not even recognize an attempt to change the pin.

Default That Is What I was Saying

Book I was referring to is the owners manual. It differs from his statement and I can not get mine to work either way. Thanks for the help though.

There's a laminated quick reference card in the back of your owners manual. Pull it out and stick in your wallet with all those others useless pieces of paper and receipts.

Followed the '15 owners manual, and changed my PIN just fine.

Yep, the one some don't ever open.

Follow the steps exactly as the book lists.
It might take a few tries to get the hang of it, but the book is correct.
