Default Rear Tire / Rim Size?

Finally going to get new rims and tires. 21 x 3.5" on the front and I was going to stay with the stock size on the back (16 x 5.5"). One of the Reps recommended the 17 x 6.25" with a 200 55 R17 tire. I know it will look cooler but my goal is comfort and tire longevity. I heard you only get about 5000 miles out of a 200 series tire.

Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks
Scott

Scott, many members fit a 200 wide tyre to their stock 16" wheel, so no need to change wheel if you fancy that width. There are plenty of threads on the subject!
