The S&S Power Tune Duals were my latest Add on. Already have SPO mufflers, S&S A/C , and added the 551C cams with the Duals. Sound is louder and better, way less heat off the right side also.
Ended up with 94 HP and 115 Torque. Bike is a 2013 Road Glide Ultra. S&S is quality stuff, the chrome and fit / finish on the duals was impressive.

+1 on all of the above! I just put mine on my '07 FLHR, I transferred my big city thunder head pipe baffles that I had in my stock headers, I have SE cans that are gutted out and only have a straight 1-3/4" pipe through them. I run with a Daytona Twin Tec tuner w/o O2 sensors and a Kury Corsair air filter.

Man, those pipes are awesome!
Best $420.00 I have spent on this bike. Cooler, cleaner looking, sound great.

Performance jump was a nice bonus, all of my lower speed pinging is gone, I just need a slight tweak in the higher 3k rpm range at half throttle and I'm golden.

I never had it dyno'd and probably never will now.

S&S has it together on this one, I won't hesitate to buy more of their stuff in the future.

Love your configuration. I have always loved their products and to top it off they gave us a place to sleep when they were at Laconia bike week in 2004. My nephew smoked his clutch and we were dead on the side of the road. Along comes a pickup and asks us if we need help. Long story short the guy was Brett Smith the grand son of George Smith. He gave us a place to sleep and his guys replaced my nephews clutch in the morning. We asked what we could do to show our appreciation and his response was help anyone on two wheels no matter what the brand.

I've been thinking about putting these on in place of my 2-1. Does a power chamber perform the same as an x-chamber? I do like the look of the s&s. Just have to figure out what mufflers to run.

Was watching this video showing an install of the SS Powertune Duals header and SPO's on a 2010 96" and was not too impressed.

End result was 72HP and 84Ft-lb of torque.

I heard that my V&H power duals are a substandard pipe for tuning (bungs give too little exposure to the flow for the sensors), but with that and Kuryakyn Crusher mufflers, a Kury aircleaner and a MasterTune system, I exceeded those numbers on my '10. 74.4 HP, 89.7 Tq. I know that results vary by dyno and that my results are pretty much the same as these w/r to margin of error, but it doesn't look like either system is particularly superior. At least on a stage 1 upgrade.

At a stage 1, I'm thinking that just getting more air makes the difference...variations might not be that important?

Does anyone know if these make a difference over the stock NON CAT/NON O2 sensor type Y pipes? Ive got a 2001 FLHTCI with rinehart slip-ons, Ness sucker a/c, and a pc3. I like the feel of the bike but always looking for more. Just curious if the S&S headers would make a difference that I could feel.
