Default S&S Power Tune Duals

This weekend I was able to take my 2013 RK out on the interstate for the 1st time since installing the S&S headers. The difference is amazing. Now I can roll the throttle at 80-85 in 6th and the RK pulls strong up to 110 (speedo indicated) with more left and had a wider powerband than before. This is the only change I made, already had Full Board 2.5 baffle slipons, Big Sucker and the FLXieds. I was going to explore a tuner but this thing runs so good I'm not going to. There may be a few more HP but for me it's perfect now, with great sound and power. Pipes also look cleaner after a ride (gray vs sooty) so I guess the fuel mixture is good. S&S headers fit perfect, look great and sound really good with the 2.5 baffles.

The new one that is the same mount as the stock bracket. I guess the old version had some issues with the trans. bolts.

Cool, and yes there was a problem with the other...I know first hand.
But in the end they took care of it!

I love mine too! SE Air, Power Vision from Fuel Moto, and RC 4" slip ons. Love the look, sound and feel. I was looking at VH True duals but opted for the S&S....glad I did!

On the subject of "tune or not to tune," I've gone through 3 different exhausts and even an upgraded set of cams over the years and with just the stock Stage II download from the Factory I've never sensed a need for additional tuning. Good idle, excellent pull up to red line, no decel popping and no pinging ever. Yeah there may be a HP or two left on the table, but I don't use what I've got now, so if it ain't broke......

What was the problem with the older style crossover bracket? Did you just contact S&S and they sent you the newer bracket free of charge?

Good point, I did cams and later a 107, sticking with a stage one next time.

Now I did do cams and exhaust, but the bike came with that download (S/E RG,) 95" and the high flow AC. If I went bigger, I'd assume that I'd need to give it more fuel (My bike doesn't even have O2 sensors.)
