Using Sena SM-10 & SMH-10 to Xmit over HD CB
Does anyone know if you can transmit over the HD CB and Intercom via Bluetooth using the Sena SMH-10 head set and the SM-10 comm hub if you connect the SM-10 using the 7pin HD cable that they make? I have wired J&M headsets that I would like to retire and just go with using Bluetooth for everything including the HD CB, Intercom, FM/AM Radio and a Garmin 665 that I will use via the Hd Radio or SM-10 Aux port. I believe the Sena SR-10 will definitely let me do what I want to do but only outputs in mono where I believe the SM-10 supports stero output. Both units seem to come with a PTT button to enable 2-way Comms but I'm not sure the SM-10 supports it. BTW I have a 2012 Ultra Classic Limited.

I don't know anything about Sena headsets but there have been a few posts about using Bluetooth headsets with the rushmore bikes. This thread might give you a place to start:

I'd also try reading some of the other posts by CPT Carrera.

That setup will not work unfortunately. Would be nice because the SM10 is really small but it only outputs stereo to the headset. It will not send audio back to the bike so you would not be able to use the CB or intercom.
You need a device that supports a headset or handsfree Bluetooth profile for that and those are all mono audio. Now if you already own a SM10 and purchased the Sierra electronics harness you could add your SM10 to the setup and that would give you the ability to listen to stereo via the SM10 and all CB/intercom tasks would be performed via the SMH10 also on the Sierra harness .
