Did you buy the real thing from a reputable company - if not, it could be a counterfeit product like the many of which are for sale on Ebay....

Speaking of Truklite Phase 7 problems, I ran into one today and thought I'd pass it along. I went to remove my fairing today. The Truklite has a 8 inch or so long lead with the plug on the end. I normally just fold it up behind the fairing. So this time, upon removing the fairing, I found the the plug was lodged in front of the left fork tube and behind the chrome trim beneath the fairing. I couldn't see it, and ended up having to cut the wires in order to remove the outer fairing. Once the fairing was off I had some more room and was able to pry it out from in front of the fork. I'd suggest tying the factory plug off somewhere where it won't move around, and not just tucking the excess wire in there.

I recently noticed the exact same thing with mine. It is installed correctly. I sent an email to truck lite today.

Yep, I pinned Him to the wall.
No bug in there, all seems well with the TLP7 and the horns.
Payback is gonna be rough, I just know it!
Would love to learn how your friend gives you the payback. PLEASE let us know.............

If that is the case it could be easily resolved by contacting the seller. PayPal is your friend. Usually.

Has anyone noticed worse radio reception with the hidden antenna? Mine wasn't great by any means before my TLP7 but now it gets crazy bad!

I never considered a hidden antenna, figured I would lose it before I got it installed!

The one I have on my 09 SG says top on the outside of the lens. Check to see if you got upside down. If not then it may be defective. by the way there is no blueish light coming off these, just super bright white. Love my TL7
