Speaking of Truklite Phase 7 problems, I ran into one today and thought I'd pass it along. I went to remove my fairing today. The Truklite has a 8 inch or so long lead with the plug on the end. I normally just fold it up behind the fairing. So this time, upon removing the fairing, I found the the plug was lodged in front of the left fork tube and behind the chrome trim beneath the fairing. I couldn't see it, and ended up having to cut the wires in order to remove the outer fairing. Once the fairing was off I had some more room and was able to pry it out from in front of the fork. I'd suggest tying the factory plug off somewhere where it won't move around, and not just tucking the excess wire in there.
A while back, I had a buddy to look into my TLP7 Headlight as I sat on the bike and turned on the headlight so if He could see if some kind of bug was crawling around in there when the light is on. In the garage, He bent over and locked His gaze studying intently, then I blasted my three new Fiamm Highway Blaster Horns into a nice, long chorus of various tones each, like an old Cadillac Fleetwood.
Yep, I pinned Him to the wall.
No bug in there, all seems well with the TLP7 and the horns.
Payback is gonna be rough, I just know it!
Would love to learn how your friend gives you the payback. PLEASE let us know.............

If that is the case it could be easily resolved by contacting the seller. PayPal is your friend. Usually.

I received an email fron TL first thing this morning. Thry said the blue light is not normal and to contact the seller. Since I purchased mine in April, it is covered under the 3 year warranty.
The one I have on my 09 SG says top on the outside of the lens. Check to see if you got upside down. If not then it may be defective. by the way there is no blueish light coming off these, just super bright white. Love my TL7
