i have a cornerstone ESP. i had to use it a little while ago when my voltage regulator went toes up. I was a little uneasy when i took it to my local dealer because i had never heard of prior to my purchase....and neither had they. well, they called cornerstone and one of the first things they asked was "did you hook it up to diagnostics", the dealer answered yes and then cornerstone said they'd pay for it. they asked what the dealer labor rates were and they said they would pay their rates rather than an average of local dealers like other ESP's do. They paid for the part, labor, diagnostics with no deductable. the harley service manager couldn't believe it. he said "even harley has a $50 deductable. you got a great esp.
So, thats the only time i had to use it but it was recent and about year 3 and about 35000 miles. i have a prepaid maintenance too so i got a 35000 mile maintenance and a regulator change both totaling about $750 if i would have had to pay for it.....ZERO dollars is what i had to spend that day. Go for it, you can't go wrong. it covers all warranted parts from the origional warranty. jmho...

I had one on a dyna I sold a couple months ago. Had it at the local dealer a couple times and never had a problem. I will probably get one for my ultra when the Harley esp runs out the end of next month.

i know that if you have a current (cna) esp, that you can renew it, if you have less than 75000 miles and your bike is less than 12 years old. but, you're changing companies, will cornerstone consider it 'covered' for the purpose of renewal?

I am looking at the same comparisons, thanks everyone for the comments.
I think Cornerstone is the one being mentioned by the former Cutter HD.

Im looking into this as well with Jim at Boardtracker HD regarding the Cornerstone ESP.
No Deductable, 975 for 3 years ADDITIONAL years or 1348 for 5 ADDITIONAL years.
Accepted at all HD dealerships and again, no deductible with Cornerstone.

Thanks Cass for the feedback
I NEVER in my life (which has been a long time so far) bought an extended warranty for anything, this is my first HD, even though it has been flawless, Im tainted *L* and thinking about getting an ESP.

ESP is a good thing . If you ride like some of us . I've used it 5 times on my 07 Ultra . So worry free riding coast to coast to coast .

I was told by a dealer that "you have to go ahead & pay for the fix" & then wait for reimbursement from Cornerstone...minus deductible. Any truth to this?
