2 up seat that won't raise the passenger too high?
My wife is new to riding on the back of my bike (2014 SG) and only has been doing it sporadically for just over one year. On our stock seat, she sits pretty low and she feels safe with her head almost the same height as mine. She does not want her head height to be way above mine and does not feel as secure if she sits too high above me.... her words, not mine.
She has been complaining that the seat is very uncomfortable and hurts her on longer rides. I agree. Laughlin bike rally is coming up and with a 7 hour ride I want her *** to feel comfortable. If she is happy, I am happy. Visa Versa.
I did advise her that if she wants a more comfortable seat, then mathematically speaking, comfort = more thickness = more height.
She is ok with this, but wants the rise in height to be as minimal as possible.
Can someone recommend a Harley seat that would not raise her up too high but would be an improvement over stock? A rise for her around an inch would be ok. Same goes for me, I like a lower seat, but realize that most of the time, more comfort is a thicker seat. One thing that is a MUST for me is that the new seat sits me back as far as possible. I have long legs.
I don't have time to go with an online dealer, nor do I want to buy a seat without the wife trying it out. So that unfortunately eliminates places like Mustang seats. Here in Tucson, we only have Harley Stealership.
thanks for reading my long post.

This also sounds good, but what of the passenger's height position? Read my original post of my concerns.
