Thanks for the recommendations OP and others. I have had the drink holder on my saddlebag guard for 5 years but have always used the supplied plastic water bottle. in the summer, after an hour or so, the water is hot. So I'm hoping this (a) fits, and (b) works as well as you all are saying!

I just had to share because they work so awesome. I got the 24oz orange.
Hydro flask

What year bike do you have? I am thinking of getting the same water bottle / holder setup, but the holders are different for pre 14 models according to the catalogue. Is your bike a 14 or newer? If so the 24 Oz bottle should fit mine as well....

I also use the Hydro Flask (18oz). It hit 93 here today and I went for a ride at 11:00. Got home at 5:30. I put Ice cubes and water in my Hydro Flask when I left. When I went to the garage to take the attached picture, I checked and there are still ice cubes in the water. These things will keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for a long time.

How do you guys hold your Hydro Flask on the handle bars? I think I'd like to have it hanging there, but I'm not sure which hanger would be the best.

Take a quick look at the tour pack latch of his bike for your answer.

Didn't think of doing that - Upon inspection it looks like a Rushmore bike.

I was looking at the Amazon for dimensions shorter one will be better for the handle bars but the reviews for both sport cap and straw cap weren't good and at $ 9.95 for a lid I would expect lot more.

HydroFlask are the real deal. Wife and I both have one and will keep any beverage cold all day, even on the outside of the bike. Great for hot drinks too.

It works so well, I felt the need to share with you guys.
Yep I have a 16 RGU.
The 32oz won't fit in the holder but put in your bags. The bigger the better. Last even longer.
