Question 06 rk wont start key fob i think please help

so here is the deal I was involved in a wreck, well with the money I got I am redoing some things. it started then I went into replacing headlight with daymaker and adding front air ride and rear air ride. I charged my battery checked all fuses they check good. my bike wont start, its cranking but no start. I had my key fob dis armed it and when turn ignition on the red key come on like its engaging my alarm. question is there anything in headlight area that would cause bike not to start. I also tried to turn alarm period by turning ignition holding down both turn sig and I get nothing on dash. please help im trying to get bike back on road. thank you

next I would remove a spark plug and rest against the cylinder head to see if you have a spark. If there's a spark, you will have narrowed it done to either a fuel or air problem.

If no spark, then its electrical

ok I will check spark plug, I mean it like wanted to start cranked and the boom backfired once and then cranking, cranking. I hope its not electrical cause I have not messed with anything other then replacing my headlight and removing my front turn signals. Is there anything up front that would not allow me to start. I am also going to try and completely dis arm alarm to rule that out. it started before even after wreck. thanks again for the help

if it backfired, then its getting a spark. If it's getting a spark, then I doubt the alarm is at fault.

Even thou you charged the battery, I would take to get it load tested next.

If the battery checks out as ok, and it's sparking ok, next on my list would be fresh fuel.

You can get a backfire if you crank the heck out of it, as the motor starts to flood with fuel it can detonate, I believe due to the compression. And that will convince you that the spark is good and you will start to chase your tail. Pull BOTH plugs and see if you get spark at both of them.
