Default Made a trade last week.

So for awhile now I have been trying to sell/trade my 02 FXSTDi for an EVO bagger. It finally happened!

Made it home with this 96 Ultra Classic with 23,7XX miles.

Could not be happier!

Very happy with it so far, put about 300 miles on it! Needs some TLC, but nothing major...kickstand spring, brakes are a bit weak, tour pack buckles, needs an oil change. All getting remedied this weekend after I get back from SC. I am going to watch a buddy graduate from recruit training at Parris Island.

I plan on adding some 14" apes, and upgrading the sound system. Other then that leaving her alone....runs good, and sounds good already!

I have a '94 Electra Glide Ultra Classic that I've owned for a couple of years (looks like yours but in aqua). If you find something that improves the front brakes' performance, even if it's just new pads, please post it.

So from the sound of that I can assume the front brakes have always kinda sucked?

We have a dedicated Evo section where you can meet fellow owners. Had my '90 since new and between us we have plenty of expertise to share. As for brakes a change to aftermarket pads and braided brake lines are a good starting point. Remember that Evos use DOT5 brake fluid which don't mix with any other variety! Your local dealer can supply a factory service manual, which is essential reading.
