Default 07 Street Glide rev limiter?

Went out for a quick spin between rain showers this morning and ripped thru the gears. I held 3rd a little longer and bounced off the rev limiter at about 5500rpm's. My question is how can I aise the rev limiter to 6000 and would this be ok for the new 96" motor. I have the fuelpak as my tuner would the change need to be made thru here? Can the fuelpak change the rev limiter? Please let me know haw you feel about this and what a safe limit would be for the rev limiter? Thanks!!!

Your Fuel Pak will not change the rev limiter. The only way to raise the rev limiter is with the Stage I download or a SE Race Tuner.

So will the PCIII, DTT, or Thundermax change the rev limiter? I guess I could pay for the download and keep the Fuelpak. Is 6000 safe for a stage 1 07? Thanks!!

6200 is about the top end.

Thundermax will allow you to change rev limit. It came defaulted to around 6200 or so if I remember. According to the software, I've only hit that 3 times in 700 miles. 6000rpm should be fine from what I've seen on here.
