2010 Ultra Suspension Seems Funny
I just got this 2010 in September so don't know much about it. My last bike was a 2002 Ultra
The suspension feels like the bike is hopping or leaping when I go over bumps. Don't remember this from the old bike. Tires are basically new and properly inflated. Rear shock pressure is set per the owners manual. Guessing it is the front?
Also getting a hum from the front tire when turning. Not sure how to diagnose or fix.
Thanks in advance

My 09 does the same thing / tire hum when cornering with new or worn tires, doesn't seem to make much diff in noise lvl when cornering.
I installed new wheel bearings and noise didnt change or go away.

Have the same problem with an 09 Streetglide , have HD's air pump and have played with different settings but about the same results ... I and GF are about 350 lbs together . Have the same front tire noise in turns , thought it was a front wheel bearing but several tire people told me it was the cupping/wearing of the tire . Maybe time for Ohlins this winter ?

without the ability to set rebound and sag, you are left to what is available to put a shine on the turd that is Harley suspension.
You can change springs and oil viscosity hoping to get it right, or you can toss the Harley/SHOWA suspension in the scrap heap and UPGRADE to something that works for your riding style and weight.
My 03 has Progressive suspension front and rear and out handles my 13 any day of the week.
At some point I will upgrade the 13 but for now it is functional, but the minute it isn't it will get replaced with Ohlins, Progressive, or something else that works and had adjustment.
Harley uses crap for suspension components, and when you get some tire wear you really find out how bad it is.

Thanks. I do the the HD pump and have the rear set to the proper level. I really think it is the front shock but not sure how to tell and what to do about it. Really don't feel like it is bottoming, more of a jitter on the front end when going over even small bumps at speed.
