Default I'm thinking chrome rims for the winter project

Any suggestions on where to look? I've tried the classifieds on this site. Didn't see anything.

You may want to take a look at your Harley catalog if your not planning to change wheel sizes. Prices are within reason.

Your post and signature don't state which bike. But I look through you history and presume were talking about 2012 Electaglide with the 20 spoke knuckle wheels. I had an 09 Road King with these wheels and hated them PITA to clean and didn't really look good when the were.

Harley's newer style wheels have Improved looks and have been out long enough that the second hand pricing is starting to drop. The Enforcer style wheels which are 19 inch front and 16 inch rear can be had new for around $700.00 each in chrome and the ten spoke impeller which are standard for your model newer bikes can also be purchased in chrome for the same price.

Second hand can be purchased for $700.00 to $900.00 with every ready to go with tires rotor and bearing (Take offs) Many with near zero miles on them. I put the Enforcer wheel on mine at a cost of $600.00 and they had 20 miles on the when installed.

Also if you stick with these your brake rotors will swap over unless you want them in polished or chrome.

Another option is to have the wheels you have chromed. Sport chrome has many of the Harley wheels all ready chromed. Once the deal has been made the will send you a set of chromed wheels and you send your back as cores.

You will have to put new bearing in them no matter what you do.

I put some chromed 9 spoke Conestoga's on my 07 SG. $300 each mounted, got them at my local Indy. Easy to clean and look pretty good I think.

You didn't mention what style you are looking for. If you like your current style, but just want chrome, you might want to consider someone like ***** Shiny that does chroming on an exchange basis. I got a set from him, have had them on for 2 years and they still look great,

Would you be interested in a pair of OEM Chrome spoke wheels and rotors off of a '10 UC ?

A friend on mine has his OEM's that look new (took off in '13 I think) rotors and bearings for $700.

It's just my own opinion, but chromed Enforcers look better than 95% of the "custom" wheels if you don't mind staying with the 19/16" stock sizes. I wish I could fit one on the rear of my 05.

Ya. Price wise. Im staying with HD. Them chromed enforcers look great too. I'm going with agitators. Got the rear for 325 bucks new. Has a blemishes you'll never see. I expect to pay close to the regular price for the front. I get a good discount. Went with contrast.
