Heated Riding Gear
#2
i started on the heated gear investment last year, wow took me too long !!!
I think yes Gerbing makes it but I think there are two Gerbings, one commercial(china) and the original.
from my learning curve i found there all interchangeable and all the companies will replace ur stuff if it breaks forever if you say it was a gift and act vague frugal minds need to know.

The wired stuff is a PITA, especially the gloves. Also, if the gloves aren't gauntlet gloves, they're a PITA to pull over the sleeves of the leather jacket. I recently bought a set of battery operated gloves. Haven't had a cold day to try them yet but I'm sure it's not to far off.
I was up in Detroit over the Columbus Day weekend. Temps were in the upper 30s when I left out of there Sunday morning. Could have used heated gloves then.

I do a fair bit of cooler weather riding. Sat I was out for 200 miles, 40-45f. The empty highways as the harvest wraps up are incredible. I have found all I need is the heated vest under a hoodie. Tour master make excellent products. Not all clothing as temp range settings many have either on or off. The tour master stuff really holds up well. Good luck and stay out there.
